Nine first-time offenders in the criminal justice system were placed in Carbon County’s Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program on Thursday by President Judge Roger N. Nanovic II.

If a person successfully completes all conditions of the program, their record will be wiped clean. However, if they fail to complete it, or are revoked from it, then they would face trial on all pending charges. A person does not admit guilt in entering the program.

All were placed for a year on driving under the influence charges.

Tiffany Marie Frantz, 40, of Walnutport, was arrested on May 29, 2021, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of alcohol.

She was assessed $500 for the cost of the program and had her license suspended for 30 days.

Shania Starr Fritzinger, 26, of Weissport, was arrested on Feb. 5, 2020, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of a controlled substance.

She was assessed $650 and her license was suspended for 60 days.

Randall Leroy Gombert, 61, of Lehighton, was arrested on Jan. 28 by Lehighton police for DUI of a controlled substance.

He was assessed $600 and his license was suspended for 60 days.

Catherine Rebecca Kennedy, 32, of Jim Thorpe, was arrested on April 22 by Palmerton police for DUI of alcohol after being involved in a crash.

She was assessed $500 and her license was suspended for 60 days.

Andew J. Stonbely, 41, of Slatington, was arrested on April 3 by state police at Lehighton for DUI of alcohol.

He was assessed $550 and his license was suspended for 60 days.

Tarciri Manuel Vasquez Cruz, 24, of Union City, New Jersey, was arrested on July 27, 2020, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of a controlled substance after being involved in a crash.

He was assessed $650 and his license was suspended for 60 days.

Aseel A. Bajes, 26, of Clifton, New Jersey, was arrested on Sept. 24, 2020, by Lehighton police for DUI of a controlled substance.

He was assessed $650 and his license was suspended for 60 days.

Nathaniel Hackett-Jacinthe, 29, of Lehighton, was arrested on March 9 by Lehighton police for DUI of a controlled substance.

He was assessed $600 and his license was suspended for 60 days.

Miria Carta Campion, 41, of Wilkes-Barre, was arrested on April 16 by Kidder Township police for DUI of alcohol.

She was assessed $550 and her license was suspended for 60 days.

Each defendant must also pay court costs of more than $1,000 and pay a $50 per month supervision fee while in the program.
